(1) Inpatient Treatment refers to circumstances where the insured person must be hospitalized for diagnosis and treatment
of a health condition and observation of the condition of the insured person over the time.
(2) Outpatient Treatment refers to circumstances where hospitalization of the insured person is not necessary for diagnosis
and treatment of the health condition of the insured person and includes physician’s examination, drugs, lab and imaging services, etc.
(3) The Orange Policy is valid for the type B institutions.
(4) Cover for non-contract land ambulance is limited with the same charge for contract land ambulance for the same
distance.
TTB: Minimum Fee Tariff of the Turkish Medical Association
Fee of a non-contract physician at a contract/non-contract health care institution shall be limited with the fee stated in the TTB.

EMERGENCY CASES
The events and diseases listed below are considered emergency cases. In such cases,
expenses incurred at any non-contract institutions shall be treated based on the payment percentage established for the contract institutions in accordance with the special and general
conditions of the policy.
• Drowning,
• Traffic accident,
• Terrorism, sabotage, getting shot by bullet, getting stubbed, fighting, etc. (it is valid if he/she is not preparatory of or a party to the event and was incurred to it accidentally)
• Rate,
• Falling from height,
• Serious job accidents, loss of limb,
• Electric shock,
• Freezing, cold stroke,
• Heat stroke,
• Serious burns,
• Serious eye injury,
• Poisoning,
• Anaphylactic shock,
• Spine and lower extremity fractures,
• Heart attack and arrhythmia, hypertension crises,
• Acute respiratory problems,
• Any organic failure which led to loss of consciousness,
• Sudden strokes,
• Severe deterioration of general condition,
• High fever (above 39.5˚C),
• Diabetic and uremic coma,
• Dialysis diseases accompanied by deterioration of general condition,
• Acute abdomen,
• Acute massive bleeding,
• Meningitis, encephalitis, cerebra abscess,
• Renal colic.
